Maybe they used to be just another fast food, but now they\u2019re a quality dish made with <strong>the best meat and select ingredients<\/strong>.<\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of them are more\u00a0<strong>traditional<\/strong>\u00a0while others are totally\u00a0<strong>innovative<\/strong>\u2026 In Bilbao we can find everything from restaurants\u00a0that have just arrived in town to other hamburger joints that have been here forever. But they all have one thing in common: quality meat and lots of TLC.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So let\u2019s explore Bilbao and its neighbourhoods in search of the city\u2019s <strong>best burgers<\/strong>!<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>THE BEST GOURMET HAMBURGER ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inevitably, we kick off with what was recently declared the Best Gourmet Burger in Spain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"424\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaodendak.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Unknown.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47750 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bilbaodendak.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Unknown.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/www.bilbaodendak.eus\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Unknown-300x199.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These guys, with Mikel at the helm, started their business during the pandemic when home delivery was the only option available to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They have a few tricks up their sleeves that make them unique, such as the fact that the <strong>meat is taken from a <em>txuleton<\/em><\/strong>, that\u2019s a T-bone steak\u00a0by the way, freshly prepared every day, that the bread is potato bread that holds together to the end without falling apart, and that, except for the mayonnaise and the BBQ sauce, all the other sauces are homemade.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>CLASSIC BURGERS<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s move on from the \u201cnewcomers\u201d and check out two places that are really well known in their respective neighbourhoods &#8211; they\u2019ve both been around for ages, leaving everyone who tries their delicious burgers licking their lips! Their secret?\u00a0<strong>Quality, fresh ingredients and freshly baked bread.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aintzane and David, both of whom have always been in the catering industry, run the Canyon Bar. Ever since they opened their doors, they have been serving their spectacular hamburgers to the entire neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They have <strong>8 different burgers<\/strong> on the menu, each one with its own unique characteristics, but all of them delicious! The best sellers are the \u201ccarnal sin\u201d burger, which comes without anything any way akin to a vegetable, and the \u201cpapa frita\u201d, the \u201cfried potato burger\u201d, which comes with chips inside the bun.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Eusko Label Meat<\/strong>, freshly baked bread, homemade sauces and quality ingredients, therein lies the key to the success of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/astuytaberna.com\/carta\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Astuy Taberna <\/a>\u00a0which has been opening for business in \u00a0Santutxu\u00a0for the past 40 years.\u00a0In 2011, Ugaitz took over the reins of the business his <em>aitas<\/em> (parents) had opened and turned it into a hamburger restaurant.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With 25 different hamburgers on the menu and a traditional product, they have become a veritable\u00a0<strong>reference point in Bilbao<\/strong>.\u00a0Their quality\/price relationship and their generous portions make them unique.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Veritable pioneers in the sector<\/strong>, they started their home delivery service 8 years ago when hardly anybody else had even thought about such a thing. Burgers, meat, hot dogs, sandwiches\u2026 you\u2019d think you\u2019re in the States without having to leave Bilbao. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/arambarrifoodandroll.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/arambarri-carta.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arambarri Food and Roll<\/a>\u00a0opened its doors in December 2020 to what is a really cosy and comfortable space.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, every dish, even the sauces, are made from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their star dish is the Jack Daniels flamb\u00e9 burger!
